Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Quadrans (Copper, 19 mm, 3.43 g, 6 h), Rome, 5 BC. GALVS•APRONIVS A A A F F around bowl-shaped and garlanded altar. Rev. SISENNA•MESALLA•III VIR around S C. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC p. 77, 447 note. Sharply struck and unusually well preserved. Struck slightly off center and with a scrape on the reverse edge, otherwise, extremely fine.
